Pfizer $1.95 billion Vaccine Deal

On July 22nd, the federal government announced a $1.95 billion deal with Pfizer pharmaceutical company to produce 100 million doses of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine. The deal includes potential for an additional 500 million doses if the initial batch is successful. If the trials are approved, nationwide delivery will begin in the 4th quarter of 2020.
